Attending your first yoga class can feel exciting but also a little overwhelming. Here’s a simple checklist of what to bring (and what to expect) to feel prepared and comfortable:
Essentials to Bring:
Yoga Mat – You can rent the studio mat $5/per use, but bringing your own is hygienic and comfy.
Water Bottle – Stay hydrated, especially in heated or vigorous classes.
Comfortable Clothing – Wear stretchy, breathable clothes (e.g., leggings, tank top) that allow movement. Avoid overly loose tops (they’ll slide during inversions).
Open Mind & Patience – It’s okay to modify poses or take breaks!
Pro Tips for Your First Class:
✔ Arrive 10–15 mins early to check in, meet the teacher, and set up.
✔ Late-comers, please input your Passcode in you booking confirmation email to open the classroom door and kindly enter quietly.
✔ Tell the instructor you’re new – They’ll offer modifications.
✔ Skip heavy meals 2 hours before class (a light snack is fine).
✔ Breathe and enjoy! No one expects perfection.
